“ Quaint, quiet, quality. This restaurant is in the heart of the Inn of Swarthmore. Fresh, savory, delectably organic, every dish is seemingly composed of the healthiest ingredients for any great meal. Ive been there three times already. This may be my brunchgoto on Sunday mornings. You will love it. ”
“ Had lunch with my family there today. They have a nice outdoor dining area. Even with being 85 and sunny out, it wasnt uncomfortable at all. Most tables were in the shade, and the ones that werent had umbrellas to give shade. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were crisp and delicious! The host was very nice and so was our waitress. Would definitely come again the next time Im in Swarthmore. ”
“ This review is for people with food allergies. I have 100000 of them and almost never eat out. But the Broad Table Tavern team took care of me in a way that honestly, was the best ever. They not only made me a delicious meal that was fancy and wonderful, but they also genuinely cared. I am so used to feeling like my allergies are a huge burden on staff. And its hard, I know! But the team here was so lovely. They went above an beyond not only to cook for me but to make sure I felt safe. The normal people I had dinner with also loved their food! But if you are an allergy person, I cant recommend this place enough. ”
“ Hidden gem in the heart of Swarthmore. Went for a family dinner and was amazed at not only the amazing drinks but the dinners were outstanding! Dessert to die for. I love that they hire new servers. Everyone deserves a chance to develop experience somewhere. I think it is wonderful that they do this here and I cannot wait to return! ”
“ Its so enjoyable hopping off a train from Philly and walking across the street towards a quaint town and welcoming restaurant. Their food is consistently fresh, seasonal and delicious. Excellent, friendly, down to earth servers and staff. Such a good vibe, even in the middle of the day. Perfect place to meet friends in the suburbs if coming from center city. Great atmosphere, fireplace in the winter and outdoor seating in summer. Highly recommend! ”
“ We reserved the Ingleneuk Room for a casual baby sprinkle brunch for 13 adults and 2 children. The atmosphere was very sophisticated and welcoming. The service was impeccable. Our server, Rico, went above and beyond to make our private party comfortable and to make me and my SO feel special. SO I have been here before, and the food did not disappoint once again. Delicioussss and not too costly! 1010 would recommend. ”
“ The broad table tavern was an amazing experience especially because of our server Matt Hoody. His friendly demeanor and menu knowledge was excellent. My sister and I shared the truffled deviled eggs the reason for our visit and I had the lobster risotto and she had the rigatoni. Both were phenomenal! The deviled eggs were perfect! Matt was so kind and attentive even though we came so close to closing time! We will definitely be back and to try some drinks! ”
“ We were there to celebrate a friends birthday. A group of seniors, 72 year seniors! Ten of us were in attendance. We were seated in a private room. Very nice. Everyone was very happy with their food choices. A variety of choices. The most unexpected highlight of our luncheon was our server. She was excellent beyond words. Ten people to serve at once is a difficult job to begin with, but also to accommodate special preferences for each order from a group of old biddies was a gift not many servers can do with a smile. She raised the bar. She was also so helpful with the birthday and all of the birthday paraphernalia we brought with us. Overall, we had a wonderful, memorable celebration with our 82 year old friend. I highly recommend it. ”
